Milena Radzikowska

I am a tenured instructor in the Information Design Department, Faculty of Communication Studies, Mount Royal College. In 2000, I graduated from NSCAD University (BDes Hon.) and, in 2003, from the University of Alberta, with a terminal masters (MDes) degree in visual communication design. My active research interests are in the areas of visual communication, interface and information design, and text visualization.


Over the last few years, I presented at international conferences in design (Edmonton, Cape Town, and Hong Kong), educational technology (Lima), communication technology (Honolulu and Helsinki), humanities computing (Victoria, Paris, Fredericton, Saskatoon, Vancouver, and Chicago), and medieval studies (Prague).


In January 2009, I joined a PhD program at the University of Alberta in Computing Science & Humanities Computing, under the supervision of Dr. Walter Bischof and Dr. Stan Ruecker.
